(Little Rock) – Circuit Judge Amy Dunn Moore has announced her intent to run for reelection for her seat in the the 15th Division of Arkansas’s 6th Judicial District, which covers Pulaski and Perry Counties. She was elected to the bench in 2020 and has served since 2021, resolving an average of more than 2200 domestic relations and probate cases each year. She has also been instrumental in the launch of a domestic violence pilot project spearheaded by the Arkansas Coalition Against Domestic Violence . Moore is one of six judges who handles domestic and probate cases in Pulaski and Perry Counties. “It has been the privilege of a lifetime to serve Arkansas families these last five years,” said Moore. “I’ve worked hard to ensure that those who come to my court are treated with dignity and fairness and are able to get their issues resolved.” Moore has twenty-three years of legal experience ranging from corporate law practice to advocating for equal access to justice for all Arkansans. Prior to her judicial service, Moore worked for more than a decade as the Executive Director for the Arkansas Access to Justice Commission and Arkansas Access to Justice Foundation . There, she led statewide efforts to assist low-income Arkansans with their civil legal needs through policy initiatives, resource development, public education, and legislative advocacy. Moore previously worked as an associate at Kutak Rock LLP and Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C . Moore graduated cum laude from Hendrix College with a BA in Psychology, and she received a Juris Doctor with highest honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law . Moore is actively involved in our community and works to make it a better place for all families. Moore is a board member for the Arkansas Access to Justice Foundation and Arkansas Bar Foundation . In 2007, she co-founded Harmony Health Clinic, where she served as a board officer until 2013. She is a former trustee for the Arkansas United Methodist Conference and the First United Methodist Church Board of Trustees, a past board member of Gertrude Remmel Butler Child Development Center, and a former board member of the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care. Moore has been recognized as a Hendrix College Distinguished Young Alumna (2010), as one of ten national recipients of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Community Health Leader Award in 2012, as a recipient of the Arkansas Bar Association’s Lawyer Community Legacy Award (2013), as UALR William H. Bowen School of Law’s Outstanding Alumna for Public Service (2013 and 2023) and Alumna of the Decade (2016), The Marie Interfaith Civil Leadership Award (2015), and the Justice Annabelle Imber Tuck Distinguished Woman of the Year Award (2019). Moore lives in Little Rock with her husband and three daughters. The non-partisan judicial election will be held March 3, 2026.
